Visiting Hurst Professor Kelly Link Reads From Her Fiction

Kelly Link is the author of three collections of short stories, Stranger Things Happen, a Village Voice Favorite Book and a Salon Book of the Year; Magic for Beginners, selected for best of the year lists by Time Magazine, Salon, Boldtype, Village Voice, San Francisco Chronicle, and The Capitol Times;  and Pretty Monsters. Her short stories have won three Nebulas, a Hugo, and a World Fantasy Award. She and her husband, Gavin J. Grant, run Small Beer Press. In 1996 they started the occasional zine Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet. 

The reading will be followed by a reception and book sale.
