francine j. harris reads from her poetry

francine j. harris's first collection of poems, allegiance (2012), was finalist for both the Kate Tufts Discovery Award and the PEN Open Book Award. Originally from Detroit, she is a 2015 NEA fellow, and has an MFA in Poetry from University of Michigan, where she was also awarded a Zell fellowship. Her second collection, Play Dead, is forthcoming from Alice James Books in Spring, 2016.
